As we celebrate the National Day on 9th of August, this year, it's an opportunity to reflect on the progress we've made and the future we want to build together. Each of us plays a role in shaping Singapore’s journey, and our collective efforts can drive positive change. Whether it’s through community involvement, innovation, or simply supporting one another, every contribution matters.

In Islam, we are reminded of the virtues of الصدق (truthfulness), الأمانة (trustworthiness), and الإحسان (excellence). Let’s harness this sense of pride and unity, guided by these values, to tackle challenges, celebrate achievements, and ensure that our country remains a place where every citizen can thrive. Also, a good Muslim means they are also a good citizen. You may ask, how is this possible?

A good Muslim in Singapore upholds the law, engages in community service and promotes diversity, contributing to a harmonious and inclusive society. Together, let’s continue to strengthen the bonds that make Singapore not just a place to live, but a home to cherish and grow.

بينما نحتفل باليوم الوطني في 9 أغسطس من هذا العام، فإنها فرصة للتفكير في التقدم الذي حققناه والمستقبل الذي نريد بناؤه معًا. أيضًا، فإن المسلم الصالح يعني أنه مواطن صالح.

فإن من خلال الإيثار، والصدق، والأمانة، يمكننا أن نساهم في بناء وطننا وتعزيز قيم التعاون والاحترام. فالصدق يعزز الثقة في تعاملاتنا، والأمانة تضمن الالتزام بمسؤولياتنا، والإحسان يدفعنا لبذل جهد إضافي في كل ما نقوم به. معًا، دعونا نواصل تعزيز الروابط التي تجعل سنغافورة ليست مجرد مكان للعيش، بل وطنًا نعتز به وننمو فيه.
